Activity 1: Talking Days for Stimulus Materials
We will explore the sources using different approaches; however, your contributions are crucial to making this work. We will get through this, together! :)
Activity 2: Growing an IWA Question
Now that we've gotten through the stimulus packet, you need to start thinking about what you would like to research in the form of a question. As you work on growing your question, it will be helpful to review: What Makes a Good Research Question?
Afterwards, you will need to complete the IWA Question Analysis doc to make sure all your bases are covered.
Activity 3: Seminar Dating Game and AB
Once again, we are back to the dating game. Who are the lucky contestants?
Create an annotated bibliography for your sources. AP must have 8 sources, non-AP 6 sources. HALF of the sources MUST be scholarly. These sources are IN ADDITION to the two you have selected from the stimulus packet. Get all the assignment details here.
Activity 4: Outline
Use the IWA Outline to help you organize your ideas before starting your rough draft.
Activity 5: Rough Draft Peer Review
You will be paired up with a peer to complete the IWA Peer Review Rubric. You must give comments for every row! Be specific in your responses.
Activity 6: Score some IMPs
We will review and score some example IMPs to make sure we can get all our points.
Activity 7: IMP Peer Review
You will pair up to rehearse your IMP. Complete the IMP Peer Review. You must give comments for every row! Be specific in your responses.
Activity 8: IMP & OD Self-Evaluation and Reflection
Follow the link for your section to complete your self-evaluation and reflection. Please use headphones to watch your video.
