It's been a glorious weekend for exploring new texts and rereading others.
I've recently finished Here the Whole Time by Brazilian author Vitor Martins. It's page-turning, YA love story ~ give it a read. ❤️🏳️🌈💜 Thanks for the recommendation, JK! And, I've finally got around to reading James Baldwin's The Fire Next Time, which has been on the list for a while. Even though it was published in the early 1960s, his ideas are relevant today. ✊🏾🤓💞 I definitely recommend it, and it's a quick read.
Today, I just started rereading The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald for an independent read with my AP Lovers of Literature, and I'm still finishing up the study of Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel with my sophomores. What are you currently reading? 😃📖
