Ask me about what I'm reading

It's been a while since I've posted. Life happened, and then the pandemic struck. It hasn't seem like that much time has passed, but, surprisingly, it's been over a year. 😲

I've just finished Purple Hibiscus by Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. This is the second novel I've read by her, and I'd highly recommend picking up one of her works. I'm looking forward to reading another one of her novels. She also has an insightful and worthwhile TED Talk called "The Danger of a Single Story."

Today, I just started Why I Write by George Orwell, inspired by my rereading of1984 with my seniors. Oh, and I'm also rereading Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel with my sophomores. It's definitely a good time to be reading! 😃📖
